1. Our Commitment

At Phones Hut Ltd, we are committed to providing honest advice, quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Every repair, purchase and trade-in is carried out with care, transparency and professionalism.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK consumer protection laws.

2. Repair Services

We repair a wide range of electronic devices including smartphones, tablets, laptops and other compatible devices.

Before carrying out any repair:

• We will assess your device and provide an estimated quotation where possible.
• Additional faults discovered during repair will be discussed with you before any extra work is undertaken.
• Repair completion times are estimates only and may vary depending on parts availability or unforeseen technical issues.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Before leaving your device with us, you agree to:

• Back up all important data.
• Remove personal SIM cards and memory cards where possible.
• Disable activation locks (such as Find My iPhone or Google Factory Reset Protection) when requested for testing.
• Provide accurate contact details so we can update you regarding your repair.

For most standard hardware repairs, such as screen replacements, battery replacements, charging port repairs, camera repairs and speaker repairs, your personal data is typically unaffected and should remain intact. However, in some cases, additional diagnostic procedures, software repairs, manufacturer requirements, device faults, or unforeseen technical issues may require a device reset or may result in data loss.

4. Repair Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship.

Where a repair includes a warranty, it applies only to the specific parts replaced and the labour carried out by Phones Hut Ltd.

Our warranty does not cover:

• Accidental or physical damage after collection.
• Liquid or water damage occurring after repair.
• Software issues unrelated to the repair performed.
• Damage caused by misuse, neglect or unauthorised third-party repairs.
• Normal wear and tear.

Opening or repairing the device elsewhere may void any warranty provided by us.

5. Manufacturer Warranty

Please note that repairs carried out by an independent repair provider may affect or void any remaining manufacturer's warranty on your device. Where this is known, we will inform you before proceeding with the repair.

6. Buying Devices

We sell new, refurbished and pre-owned devices that are inspected and tested before sale.

Unless otherwise stated:

• Product descriptions are provided as accurately as possible.
• Cosmetic conditions may vary for refurbished and pre-owned devices.
• Availability is subject to stock.

Any applicable warranty or guarantee will be explained at the time of purchase.

7. Selling & Trade-In

If you sell or trade in a device with Phones Hut Ltd, you confirm that:

• You are the legal owner of the device.
• You are over 18 years old and have a proper Photo ID.
• The device is not stolen, financed or subject to any outstanding contract or security interest.
• All personal data has been removed where possible.
• Activation locks and security accounts have been removed before completing the transaction.

We reserve the right to refuse any transaction where ownership cannot be reasonably verified.

8. Pricing & Payment

All prices are quoted in Pound Sterling (£).

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon completion of the repair before the device is returned to the customer.

For certain repairs, including special-order parts, high-value components or repairs requiring advance procurement, we may request full or partial payment before work begins. Any advance payment required will be clearly explained and agreed with you before your repair is started.

If you choose to cancel your repair before any work has commenced or before parts have been ordered specifically for your device, any advance payment will normally be refunded in full.

If cancellation occurs after work has begun or after parts have been specially ordered, we reserve the right to deduct reasonable costs already incurred, including the cost of non-returnable parts, labour already completed, or other direct expenses. Any deduction will be fair and proportionate to our actual losses.

9. Collection of Devices

Customers should collect repaired devices promptly once notified that the repair has been completed.

Devices left uncollected for an extended period may incur storage charges or, after reasonable attempts to contact the owner, be treated as abandoned in accordance with applicable law.

10. Limitation of Liability

We exercise reasonable care and skill when handling every device.

However, Phones Hut Ltd shall not be liable for:

• Loss of personal data.
• Pre-existing faults or hidden defects that become apparent during repair.
• Delays caused by suppliers, manufacturers or circumstances beyond our control.
• Indirect or consequential losses resulting from the use or inability to use your device.

Where permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the repair service provided.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

11. Website Information

We aim to ensure that all information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, product availability, specifications and pricing may change without prior notice.

We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions at any time.

Exchanges & Refunds
